Important: BLOOD WORK
All fighters must submit blood test results indicating NEGATIVE for:
HIV
Hepatitis B Surface antigen
Hepatitis C antibody
Redneck Brawl has pre-paid the lab for your blood work. It is free.
1. Call 1-888-732-2348 at Request A Test to schedule your appointment.
2. Tell them you are on a pre-approved list for Redneck Brawl May 9 in Knoxville, TN. Give them your name and age and they will help you find the closest lab.
3. If the lab is too far away then you can call your local county health clinic and see if they can do it.
4. Please take care of your blood work by Wed. April 29 deadline.
Note: If you completed your bloodwork anytime after May 9, 2026 within the year, then your bloodwork is still good and you do not need to redo it.
WEIGH-INS / STARE DOWNS – Friday, May 8 - 6:30 p.m. at Knoxville Civic Coliseum
LOCATION: Knoxville Civic Coliseum, 500 Howard Baker Jr. Ave, Knoxville, TN 37915. Fighters enter on South End Entrance (SEE MAP BELOW)
PARKING: Fighters can park in Garage C.
We will get your official weight at the weigh-ins.
Bring your driver's license or state issued picture i.d.
Weigh-ins will be broadcast LIVE with Catfish Cooley, Andrew Conn, Big Murph and Billy Hubbard. We will have fighter stare downs with your opponent. They are open to the public.
EVENT DAY - Saturday, May 9 - arrive at 5:00 pm at the Knoxville Civic Coliseum.
LOCATION: Come to the Knoxville Civic Coliseum on Historic Preservation Dr. Enter at South End Entrance. (Same place as weigh-in entrance.)
PARKING: Park in Garage C. (SEE MAP BELOW)
Family members must come through the box office gate entrance. The gate opens at 6:30 p.m. and the fights start at 8 p.m.
PRE-FIGHT PHYSICAL - All fighters must fill out a health questionnaire form and have their vitals checked by the fight doctors. Fighters must pass physical to fight.
WRAP HANDS - Wrap your hands with the training wraps. If you do not bring your own, we will provide. The cornermen we provide will help if you need assistance.
CUT-OFF 6:00 p.m. – Any fighter showing up after 6 p.m. will not be allowed to fight.
PRE-FIGHT MEETING 7:00 p.m. – The ISKA rep who sanctions the event and their refs will go over all the boxing rules and answer any questions for this amateur boxing event.
WHAT TO WEAR (to event)
Mouthpiece (You can bring your own or we will give you one for free)
Shorts, jeans, sweatpants
T-shirt, tank top or no shirt
All tennis shoes or boots as long as they have rubber soles on the bottom.
Baseball cup or groin protection.
Jeans $1,000 Bonus - One fighter will be awarded $1,000 at the end of the night for fighting in their choice of blue jeans, cut-off jean shorts, daisy dukes (lady fighters). Fighters must wear this attire during their match to qualify. The winner will be selected by a panel of judges.
PROMOTER PROVIDES THE FOLLOWING:
2 complimentary tickets for your 2 guests given to you at the weigh-ins. Fighters do not need a ticket for themselves.
16 oz. Gloves (fighters must use the promoter's gloves)
Hand Wraps
Complimentary mouthguard
Groin Protectors – Promoter's groin protectors must be worn on outside of clothes unless you bring your own cup.
Cornermen – Must be provided by the promotion mandated by the ISKA for this style event. NO ADDITIONAL CORNERMEN PERMITTED.
Towels and water for your corner
The promoter will pay for your boxing license and there is no entry fee.
RULES
• This is strictly boxing. All standup. No elbows, knees, low blows or biting allowed.
• Entrants must be at least 18 yrs. old and shall have photo identification.
• Each bout is 3 one-minute rounds with one-minute rest period between rounds.
• All contestants wear 16 oz. gloves, groin protector, and a mouth piece.
• No professionals allowed with experience in boxing, mixed martial arts, kickboxing or any other unarmed combat sport.
• All referees, judges, and timekeeper are appointed by the ISKA. Bouts are scored on a 10 point must system.
• The scoring of a bout is based on clean hits, effective aggressiveness, defense, and ring generalship. Promoter is not involved with the scoring of the fights.
• Fighter must attend night before weigh-ins.
• This event is sanctioned by the ISKA.
WEIGHT DIVISIONS
Light Flyweight: less than 108 lbs.
Flyweight: 109-114 lbs. within 6 lb. weight differential.
Bantamweight: 115-123 lbs.with 8 lb. weight differential
Lightweight: 124-132 lbs. with 8 lb. weight differential
Light Welterweight: 133-141 lbs. with 8 lb. weight differential
Welterweight: 142-152 lbs. with 10 lb. weight differential
Middleweight: 153-165 lbs. with 12 lb. weight differential
Light Heavyweight: 166-179 lbs. with 15 lb. weight differential
Heavyweight: 180-201 lbs. with 22 lb. weight differential
Super Heavyweight: 202 lbs. to unlimited
NIL / TRAVEL EXPENSES
Participants are not paid to compete or fight in this event.
Fighters may receive a flat fee of $300 for Name, Image, and Likeness (NIL) and to assist with travel-related expenses associated with attending the event.
